- 2 ½ cups flour
- 2 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ½ tsp vegetable oil
- Sift flour into a bowl. Add the baking powder and salt. Form a well in the center and add the oil and approximately ¾ cup water. Mix well to form soft but pliable dough. A little more water may need to be added. Knead dough for 5 minutes and form into a ball. Cover and let rest for ½ hour.
- Divide dough in half. Roll out dough to form a large round approximately ¼ inch thick. Repeat with the other half.
- Heat tawah over medium heat. When very hot, place the dough on the hot tawah. Let cook for a few minutes and then turn onto the next side to finish cooking. The sada should be golden brown on both sides.
- Cut into triangles and serve with desired filling.
